Description

Originally built in 1559 during the Ming dynasty, Yuyuan is one of the finest examples of a classical Chinese private garden. Occupying over 20,000 square meters, the garden is filled with ornate pavilions, winding paths and sculpted gardens. Outside the gardens, the famous zig-zag bridge, bazaar and tea house attract many visitors. RMB40 gets you into the garden (RMB30 September 1st to November 30th).
