Originally designed by the French architect Lafayette in 1932, this boutique hotel is best known for its infamous 1930s history as the club house for notorious Shanghai gangster "Big-Ears" Du Yuesheng. Now guests can stay in one of 30 gangster-chic guest rooms and toast the good life from the restaurant's rooftop terrace overlooking the former French Concession.
