Shanghai is great. Fun, safe, good business environment. Good food, beautiful girls. It could use some more culture and diversity though.
i have the same idea with you.but it's hard for me to find a german corner or german speaking partners here.even i will go to join a german company,only boss can speak in german.when there are none to talk to me in german,it's no good use for me.
but in think it's modern city here.it's versatile.i couldn't agree with you more.
but i think in your homeland.anyone can speak at least 4 languages. and To know more.cosmopolitanism is the future of your language.but not in shanghai.only main languages is chinese,english and japanese.
but i believe i can learn german by heart.
