About Us

City Weekend is China’s leading English-language lifestyle and entertainment magazine and website. We belong to the Ringier Publishing Group. We come out every two weeks in Beijing and Shanghai and our circulation is around 80,000 per issue. In addition we have magazines which focus on Families (Parents & Kids) and real estate (Home & Office). Every year we publish our hugely popular BUZZ Guide that shakes down the most popular venues in the city. Of course we also have our range of digital products including www.cityweekend.com.cn--the first English language website in China to successfully implement a web 2.0 user-generated content strategy. We also have Cityfu, a website tailored to the mobile phone interface where you can easily access all of City Weekend’s directory listings on the go. Oh yes, we also have a wonderful iPhone app.

City Weekend has been around for over 13 years in Beijing. In Shanghai we just passed our 11th year.
