City Weekend Says
one of Shenzhen's coolest spots to sit down with a book and have a warm cup of tea or coffee. Most bookstores in China have all the charm of a supermarket, but Material Life got it right. Quiet and interesting décor, with the lights just bright enough to read without squinting, yet flattering enough to make it a great place to strike up a conversation with a fellow bibliophile. The only problem is they don't carry English books - but at least they have a few English magazines.
